A Holiday Reflection from Janet Devine
President of Sonobond Ultrasonics

Although the past year has been undeniably challenging, it’s brought greater awareness of strengths and capabilities we didn’t realize we had, and the humble acknowledgement of how much we still need to learn. But among the many other challenging lessons of 2020 – clarifying what’s truly important in life, taking nothing for granted, amplifying the appreciation of family and friends – the one benefit that resonates most with me is cultivating gratitude.

Gratitude is the emotional response to being the beneficiary of something not intentionally earned, deserved or sought after. Gratitude is as simple as being thankful for a gift, for someone else’s good intentions, or for a source of goodness outside ourselves, like a sunny day.

In that spirit, all of us at Sonobond are grateful for being able to continue production over the past year, while maintaining all CDC safety guidelines. We’re grateful to all our customers who were patient with unintended and, in some cases, unavoidable delivery delays. And, among so many other things, we’re especially grateful for all the effort our co-workers put into every customer interaction and into every technological innovation to meet our markets’ ever-changing needs.

We hope you find much to be grateful for in the coming new year, and that your gratitude gives you strength, happiness and sustenance.

With kindest regards and thanks,
